The Kansas Gastronomist (TKG)
I have had a lot of occupations in my life including, but not limited to: (1) Master Muddler from 1934-1964 at local watering hole at Cheney Lake State Park; (2) #1 Toll Booth Attendant at the Kansas Turnpike Authority during the summer of 1954; (3) Whacky Shack Concierge at Joyland in Wichita from 1959-1970; (4) Bingo Barker where I ran my own bingo ball calling circuit throughout North America from 1970-1983; and (5) Hollywood Action Star in too many movies to list from 1983-1990. Currently I reside in Doug's basement and drive a Ford Pinto.
DOUG (TKG's brother-in-law)
He is married to Doug's Wife (TKG's sister). He does not contribute a lot and is not bright. He thinks he is smart, but he is stupid. He's basically accomplished nothing in his life.
DOUG'S WIFE (TKG's sister)
She is married to Doug. She loves her brother (TKG) but thinks he makes a way bigger deal about things than is warranted. Also, she loves Doug, but knows that TKG is right about Doug and how horrible and stupid he is.
DOUG’S MOTHER-IN-LAW (TKG’s mother)
She loves TKG, but she is infatuated with Doug and Doug’s Wife. She believes in TKG sometimes.
GERTIE (TKG's GF)
TKG used to live with Gertie in her house, but she kicked him out, which led to TKG living in Doug's basement. Gertie has a predilection to loiter. She loves loitering. Also, she thinks it is over with TKG. He is not so certain.
KEVIN (TKG's best friend)
Kevin used to be TKG's Hollywood Agent and ultimately became his best friend. He does not have much of a personality.
SENSAI FRANK INZENTZ (TKG's Sensei)
He trained TKG in the art of Okinawan Goju-ryu. He taught TKG that an enemy deserves no mercy.
TWERP (Doug's son)
He is Doug's son and therefore TKG's nephew. He is much like his father and does not contribute much to anyone's life, most importantly, to TKG's.
