More than a year.
That’s how long l’d wanted to go to Don Taco in Dodge City, Kansas. But finally did it.
Let me cut to the chase. The Quesabirria Tacos were some of the gosh darn best l’ve had. Period. End of story. Geez.
If you live in SW Kansas and you haven’t been to Don Taco, don’t even bother to talk to me. I don’t want to make time for you. Seriously, this dish hit it out of the park. The consome with the tacos was just great.
Don Taco has had a food truck for several years in Dodge, but it recently opened up a brick-and-mortar in the old Casey’s Cowtown Steakhouse building.
Go show them some love. I highly recommend Don Taco.

P.S. Even the rice and beans slapped (that’s a fancy way for saying they were delightful). Knowing what I do, just how many times do you think l’ve had rice and beans? Hundreds or thousands. They had a great flavor and were top tier.
