One of the best things about being an expert Gastronomist is getting to grab lunch with Fert The Foodie (whom I’m pretty sure has tried every taco in Wichita, Kansas). I can just go and know that he’ll handle it.
Fert and I swung by El Rancho Restaurant on far north Broadway in Wichita. This place is “barbacoa central” and was so good. I told him “you got it” and he got it. We ordered 1 1/2 lbs of the barbacoa along with the tortillas and the fixings. And it was such a great decision.
