Back on July 15th Wichita By E.B. published his list of 25 “Can’t Miss Places” south of Kellogg. I had been to a majority of them. But not all. I added the ones to my list that I had not visited. And Fried Rice Chinese Food was one of them.
Fried Rice Chinese Food is located off of E. Pawnee just off of S. Oliver at 2419 S. Glendale St. in Wichita, Kansas. It is a get-in and get the heck out place. Do you want fried rice, or fried rice or fried rice? I got the mix which was chicken, pork and shrimp fried rice along with a couple egg rolls and a can of soda. For $6. Total. And, it took like 40-seconds.
Not gonna lie. I was a little pessimistic before walking in. But once I walked in, I knew I would get something good from this hole in the wall. And I did. Now, would I say this is the best fried rice I’ve ever had? Probably not, but I don’t know. But would I say that it was dang good and so glad I checked it out and would go back again. Yes.
