The Kansas Gastronomist put another slice of paper into the typewriter. He’d been working on multiple versions of his “Get to Know TKG.”
He’d been told that the people wanted to know more. In fact, even Meta told him that a “great way to connect” with people was to “tell them about who TKG is.” Being TKG, he took what others said very seriously…especially when it came to how to run his blog.
As he took a bite of his gyoza (dumpling) from Sapporo he went back to work.
“My name is TKG” he wrote. “And I enjoy long walks in the park and eating 24-pieces of pizza in one sitting.” It didn’t sound right.
All of a sudden a lightbulb went off.
“My name is TKG.” He began. “Who cares? Seriously.
Sincerely,
TKG.”
As TKG took a bite of sushi, he felt content. He’d said what he needed to say.
RESTAURANT NOTES: I ordered the Spider Man Roll and the Gyoza from Sapporo. I absolutely love their Gyoza. And I really enjoyed the roll. It’s a raw roll (I don’t usually like cooked sushi) that came with crab, spicy tuna and scallion. Menu in the photos per the usual. Sapporo is located in Wichita, Kansas at 8065 E. Peach Tree Ln., which is basically the northeast corner of Kellogg & Rock Rd.
