I finally made it to Larcher’s Market in Wichita, Kansas. It’s located in College Hill near Hillside & Douglas.
I decided I wanted to get some breakfast food. So I went with the Omelette and the Hashbrowns.
What were my thoughts?
The hashbrowns were fine. Literally think McDonald’s. I’m sure that is what they are aiming for. If it’s not though — they hit the bullseye. By the way, I begrudgingly admit that I like McDonald’s hashbrowns.
As for the Omelette, I liked the flavor.
But for me personally, there were way too many mushrooms. To be fair, the omelette description states “mushroom mix,” along with Boursin cheese, spinach, and potato strings. But I did not expect it to have this many mushrooms — like way too many. For those that love mushrooms, you’ll likely appreciate this omelette. But for peeps like me — who like it more as an enhancement — it is not for you. I took a photo of the mushrooms I removed from the omelette so you could see how many there were — after I ate around half of the meal. My point is that there were a lot of mushrooms.
I definitely will go back and try some other items. I recommend the omelette if you ADORE mushrooms. But if it is not your favorite thing in the world, it’s way too much.
