When I was last at Wichita Wagyu in west Wichita (8641 W. 13th St. N, Suite 101) I picked up a pound of American Wagyu Ground Beef from Wheat State Wagyu. A pound was $14, which might be high compared to ordinary ground beef, but I feel like for Wagyu Beef was pretty reasonable.

I decided to make some meatballs and I’m serious these were the best meatballs I’ve ever made. Clearly nothing to do with my cooking — if anything I didn’t cook the Wagyu Balls well. But dang, the flavor was amazing. There’s a kind of sweet flavor to the meat of Wagyu for those of you that have not tried it.
