Looking back at my previous reviews it looks like I’ve been able to make it to Wholly Cow Market in Johnson City, Kansas approximately every 8-months or so. I have had The Sam Burger, cheese fries, The Hamburger Steak, The Philly and Mac & Cheese.
But I had never just had a plain old Double Cheeseburger, which I would assume is one of their top sellers (just an assumption).
Regardless, that is what I got and it was fantastic. I ordered it medium and it was cooked perfectly. You really can tell a difference in the grass fed beef.
Wholly Cow sources its own beef from themselves — they have a ranch and provide their own natural grass fed beef. It’s an awesome and unique concept. I know there have to be other restaurants that also have their own ranch and serve their own beef, but how many? Serious question. I’ll put them on my list.
What is also cool about Wholly Cow is that you can pick up other products in their grocery section that are solely or mostly Kansas based food companies. And you can also order Wholly Cow products online. Their website is on their page if you want to check it out.
