I want to briefly talk about Jimmy John’s and the recently expanded menu that includes wraps.
In short, I am NOT a fan. I have tried several and have only kind of liked one. I have tried the Tuscan Italian Wrap, the Jalapeño Chicken Bacon Wrap and now the Mediterranean Wrap. Even the one I “kind of liked” — the Tuscan Italian Wrap, I only ate half. I don’t know if it’s the store-bought tortillas. And the prices for their wraps are insane. This Mediterranean Wrap with pita chips and a thimble of hummus was $13.79 + tax.
Apparantly the only reason I purchased this was to tell you not to. A fast food chain’s crummy wrap, average or below average pita chips and subpar hummus. For $13.79 + tax. Not doing this anymore. Even when I want something freaky fast.
I do like the Turkey Tom sandwich. If I return to Jimmy John’s I’ll order that. But I’m not trying any more of their expanded menu. They have failed too many times.
