The Kansas Gastronomist went onto one of the news pages and let out a slight groan.

There it was. “If you could live in any century, what century would you live in?”

It was the same thing every day. Usually multiple times per day. “If you could meet one famous person, living or dead, who would it be?,” “What is the best color and why?,” and his favorite “What are your plans for the holiday weekend?”

TKG understood what some people did not. That Meta pays certain business pages for engagement. For “likes” and “comments” and interaction. And that was what it was about.

But it also was leading to crap content. Crap content by news organizations was the worst. That’s where you are supposed to learn about what is happening in the legislature, what policies are being discussed and what the people think…about other things other than what everyone’s favorite color is.

The news didn’t give a s*** what he had for breakfast and didn’t want to see a photo of it. He knew. He always looked to see if the respective news organization interacted with anyone that answered the stupid questions posed. Never. Not once.

TKG took a deep breath and calmed himself. He resolved to make quality content that he enjoyed and hoped others did too. And he hoped that the news stopped asking people to post photos of their pets on Fridays that it NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER awknowledged. But more so, he hoped that the people would recognize the stupidity of the news organizations, existing to produce news, producing that dumb content.
