Oxford Dictionary defines “bad a**” as “tough, uncompromising or intimidating.”
Apparently The Popcorner East Wichita and The Popcorner West Wichita is exactly that when it comes to fighting hunger and working with the Kansas Food Bank.
During this week’s Restaurant Week AND THE ENTIRE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER, for every dollar you donate OR can of food you donate (drop it off at their spots) you’ll receive a dollar gift certificate to the store.
Why do I think Popcorner is bad a**? Kirsten, the owner of Popcorner, sets aside the entire month to do this, and has for years. You can see the canned goods that some customers brought in. How cool. They have a passion for this mission and I admire that.
