Many of my Gastrofans reached out over the last 24 hours or so, to find out what yours truly did for National Taco Day yesterday.
Well, there is nothing like having an authentic Mexican taco. And I love to bring the ol’ recipe book out that my mother gave to me. It’s been in the family for like 10,000 years or something.
First you want to get some freshly made tortillas. Next you want some authentic taco seasoning. You can see I chose Siete. That means “hello” in Spanish. Of course for the most authentic taco, you go with ground beef. And finally, you’ll want to find a unique and rarely seen before, Mexican cheese blend. You’ll want to have it “pre-shredded” because that means it’s fresher.
How was it? Well, I think the photos speak for themselves. But it was mucho bueno.
