I don’t know if small towns just “get” how to do breakfast well, or what it is. But I’m consistently impressed with the offerings at these spots.
Enter Bear Creek Coffee in Ulysses Kansas where you can order the Smothered Breakfast Burrito which has eggs, hashbrowns, cheese and green chili with homemade sausage gravy poured over the top.
I intended to eat half, but ended up eating all of it and counting it as my breakfast and lunch.
If you find yourself around Ulysses around breakfast time, this is a great option and I recommend it.
