I’d been asked by multiple Gastrofans to try out the “THE Chicken Sandwich” from Nortons Brewing Company in Wichita, Kansas. Since Norton’s was one of the restaurants that participated in Kansas Food Bank’s ICT Restaurant Week last week and I promised to check each participating restaurant out…I figured there is no time like the present.
The sandwich was simply incredible. It really was. I don’t know if it is my favorite fried chicken sandwich or not…but it very well could be. The flavor, the juices and the pickle. There are some places that specialize in Chicken Sandwiches and for me, this sandwich blew those spots out of the water. This is a must-get sandwich.
I was also really impressed with the mashed potatoes and gravy. I know it doesn’t look like much, but it had great flavor.
Finally, the Alabama BBQ Burger was above average, but it just paled in comparison to THE Chicken Sandwich. That sandwich was just a dang good wich.
