Back in mid-September I saw this article and it got me to thinking a bit. Waited a month to bring it up.
It’s interesting. I’ve blogged about 100+ cities throughout Kansas. A lot of them are small. What’s “small?” I don’t know. Less than 8,000 residents — some less than 100.
And so many of them have Dollar Trees and/or Dollar Generals and/or Family Dollars. And a lot of them do not have much else in regards to similar products (groceries/clothing/etc.).
It’s kind of sad. But honestly want to know what you all think. Is it a bad thing? Good thing? What’s the symptom? I have many followers that either live in these communities, or are FROM those communities. I’m no more intelligent on the issue than you.
