It’s been nearly 2 1/2 yrs since I visited Doo-Dah Diner. The reason? Most people already know how amazing Doo-Dah Diner…and time just goes by.
But when I saw that they were going to participate in Kansas Food Bank’s ICT Restaurant Week, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to re-visit. Now, I couldn’t make it there during the actual fundraiser, but I promised to visit each participating restaurant and I’m doing that in real time.
Anyway, I ordered the Smothered Breakfast Burrito, which comes with egg, chorizo, potatoes and cheese with house made green chili sauce and cheese smothered on top. I also added jalepeno and bacon based on Emmy’s recommendation. It was delicious.
By the way, shout out to Emmy. She had a bunch of other tables, but still managed to make time to answer a bunch of my questions. And shout out to Doo-Dah Diner for giving back by being involved in the ICT Restaurant Week.
