Had to check out the Mamacita’s and Little Saigon “mash-up” this evening at Central Standard Brewing in Wichita,Kansas.
They have a Lemongrass Loco Chicken Bowl, which is a cilantro lime rice bowl with lemongrass marinated sticky chicken, salsa, crema, daikon carrot mix, bean sprouts, and cilantro. I ordered two. Also, I ordered the The Lil’ Flounder Flip which is a fried fish
taco with a carrot and flounder mix, and topped with cabbage, daikon, carrot, crema, and salsa. Of course I had to get the Spring Rolls that came with the mole peanut sauce. I went with the pork based on the dude that knows Vietnamese grilled pork — Chef Steven Santana of Little Saigon.
Of course I had to get an IPA and went with the Hop Sherpa. It paired well with Mamacita’s chips and salsa.
What a cool idea. CSB, Mamacita’s and Little Saigon. All in one full swoop.
