In my quest to visit all of the restaurants that participated in Kansas Food Bank’s ICT Restaurant Week, I landed at The Depot Wichita located over at Union Station in Downtown Wichita.
I ordered the Mac & Cheese with Fried Buffalo Chicken, the Nashville Chicken Sliders and the Loaded Waffle Fries. My favorite was most definitely the Mac with that perfectly cooked buffalo chicken. I did also like the Loaded Waffle Fries.
I was not a fan of the Nashville Chicken Sliders though. I think it was the bread/buns. It reminded me of those buns that Doug’s Mother In Law (my mom) used to buy at the grocery store and then put in the oven. But I think I’m in the minority on this dish because a lot of people have given high marks to these sliders.
