In all of my travels, more than 100 cities in Kansas, there have been two occasions where an employee (a manager on both occasions) has given me grief for taking photos at the restaurant.
I’m talking thousands of restaurants.
Both times occurred in Wichita. And I do my best to be discreet, by the way. As you already know. It’s not like I have a camera set-up or anything. It’s me taking a quick pic as I walk by. That’s how I stay under the radar.
On both occasions, it initially started off with some hostility by the managers. I descalated it. But it really annoyed me. Cause on both occassions, I was just trying to anonymously get some photos to give some good vibes to the restaurant. But after those experiences it makes me not want to say “boo” about them.
