Everytime I go to Lawrence, Kansas, I have to stop by Louise’s Bar Downtown and The Sandbar. Both are on Mass Street (well, technically The Sandbar is off of Mass Street).
Two very different bars, but both are great, nonetheless.
Louise’s is a chill bar that gets fun late during the weekends. But during the week you can go and play pool, which I used to do a decent amount. And it’s relaxed. And The Sandbar…well I could tell you stories. But I won’t because it’s none of your business. For an 80-year old man like myself, going there makes me feel young again.
