Gastrofans,
I have to say that I REALLY liked the taco pizza at Pumphouse in Old Town Wichita.
I am sure it is a quite popular dish…but I don’t know. Nobody at my table had tried it and neither had our server. But I was like “the heck with it, let’s give it a go.”
And now I would have to say it is my favorite taco pizza I’ve had, maybe anywhere. I liked that it was a thin crust and that it had crushed Doritos on top.
I don’t ordinarily order a taco pizza. It’s funny how controversial it is. Sort of like pineapple on pizza. Anyway, I’ll have a hard time not ordering the taco pizza at Pumphouse the next time I go. It’s a pizza I didn’t know I was missing.
