I have blogged about City Bites Wichita on six different occasions. However, the last time I went was nearly eight months ago, so I thought another visit was in order.
Since Doug (my brother in law) charges me only $1,000 per month to rent his basement, I went ahead and ordered him the Classic Baked Potato. Because he is so basic though, he had me hold the bacon. I went with the Fleetwood sandwich on Jalapeño Cheese Bread and added marinara. The Fleetwood is definitely in my top three sandwiches at City Bites.
Some thoughts about City Bites, now having blogged about this place seven times. First, I have never had a bad experience with staff. On the contrary, everyone always is so helpful and appears to enjoy working there. Second, the food is always ridiculously quick. It’s a great place to get lunch during the workweek. Third, the owner (Brian) I have met a couple of times (I don’t think he knows who I am) and he is just one of those owners that you gotta love. Fourth, the prices are super reasonable.
