Not gonna lie. I did not expect to even like Super East Buffet. I mean, no offense, but the generic name didn’t have me excited. “Super East.” I generally do not like buffets and quite honestly only went because my buddies Wichita By E.B. and DJ Carbon were going. I was like “alright, I’ll go.”
Honestly, I was blown away by the variety of food at this “Chinese buffet,” as well as the quality and interior of the building itself. By the way, I put “Chinese buffet” in quotes because though it is definitely heavily Chinese, it is so much more. The craw fish, huge sushi bar, fresh tuna including the white tuna you see in the photos, seafood boil and the mussels to name a few items that make this more than a “Chinese Buffet.” Hell they even plan to have crab legs in the evening and think they did so last night. I didn’t get a photo of the soups and salad bar but they are there. Maybe even desert, but I didn’t care to look.
I was definitely a big fan of Super East Buffet, which just opened yesterday on Monday, March 10th. It’s located over on the north side parking lot of Towne East Mall in Wichita, Kansas.
