Alright. Let me first say this — it is my opinion. And as they say, “opinions are like a-holes and TKG don’t know what he is talking about.” Something like that.
But I wasn’t impressed with The Waffle Bus in Derby, Kansas.
I ordered the Hot Chicken Sandwich with a side of Mac & Cheese, the Cheeseburger Fryders and and order of Waffle Fries with Thunder Sauce, Hurricane Sauce and Stormy Sauce.
As for the Chicken Sandwich, if that was “hot,” then I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Not only that, it just did not taste that good. It was just an average, not hot (spicy), chicken sandwich. I was also so disappointed in the Cheeseburger Fryders, which stinks because I was pumped to try them. But there was barely any sauce on the waffle fries, and on the beef I felt it was not well seasoned. Just tasted bland.
I did think that the waffle fries themselves were good and I REALLY liked the Mac & Cheese.
TWO IMPORTANT ITEMS:
1. Go ahead and come at me that I should have ordered a waffle. I’m here to be told that I should not give an honest review about other items on the menu.
2. I went to The Waffle Bus with a friend. He initially enjoyed it. I asked his opinion. Really liked it. I waited for his full opinion and then he asked mine. I’m not sure he agreed with it fully. Totally cool.
