There’s nothing better than going to new places and experiencing new things.
But there’s also nothing like coming home. And honestly, I love Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport. It’s beautiful, sleek, modern and easy.
Exhibit A. United managed to get my checked bag from Naples, Italy, to Newark to Chicago yesterday. But they did not get it from Chicago to ICT late last night. But within 5-minutes of me walking into the “Baggage Service Area” to file a report, I was out the door and on my way. I attribute that ease to the airport, and to the pool of employees (Wichita and Wichita area folks) working for both the airport and the airlines.
