Doug (my brother-in-law) and I decided to grab dinner at Redrock Canyon Grill in Wichita at Bradley Fair at 21st & Rock the other day. It had been quite awhile since either of us had been there, what with my ever-budding career and him being busy being a dumbass.
For our appetizer we ordered the Deviled Eggs. The eggs were appropriately deviled. Even I felt a tad sinful partaking, and that’s a rarity.
For Doug’s main he went with Crispy Chicken Sandwich, but got the rotisserie chicken instead. He really enjoyed it and said he liked the fries it came with. And for my main, I went with the Steak Frites.
The ribeye steak was average in my opinion. The butter on the steak was a “spiced Creole butter,” and it was great flavor, but without that butter there was not much flavor in the steak. It was not bad, but just not “knocking it out of the park.” Also, and this is definitely not a critique because it is just a preference, but the fries are not really for me. If you like crispy fries, which I think 75% of Americans do, then this is the fry for you.
