“Oh yes…”
It was weird. TKG had just taken a bite of a thing Doug’s wife (TKG’s sister) had never seen before. But two things she knew in life were as follows. First she didn’t trust The Kansas Gastronomist to know anything about food. And second? She wasn’t sure, but was confident it had something to do with Doug.
“TKG…what’s that weird looking thing that appears to be finely minced chicken encased in a thin, silky dough and meticulously hand folded into a perfect little parcel?” Doug’s wife asked.
“It’s the Steamed Momo’s from The Momo Stop!!! It’s a food truck that is often parked on the northwest corner of 21st and Woodlawn in Wichita, Kansas. Jeez Doug’s wife!!” TKG yelled as he took another chomp of his momos.
TKG’s reaction was what is commonly referred to as an overreaction. But it was because he loved momos.
FOOD NOTES: The sauce that came with the momos was amazing. Momos are cooked made to order. Now that Himali Eats is closed this is where TKG has to get his Momo fix.
