Gastrofans,
I went to Hibachi Boy located at 3010 E. Central (just west of Central and Hillside in Wichita, Kansas) skeptical. But wanted to give it a shot.
The Fillet Mignon with Spicy Basil was surpisingly good. I didn’t expect the steak to be cooked so well. It wasn’t hard (overcooked) at all. I feel like this happens at Hibachi spots too often. But it was tender and wish I would have got a photo of the interior. Alas, I’m not a perfect Gastronomist. I am just THE Gastronomist.
The Chicken Teriyaki Bowl was good, nothing to complain about, but nothing to write more about. Same goes for the Crab Ragoons.
I’ll definitely go back.
