I can’t stand the flirtatious tap. Know what I’m talking about? You know where two people can’t touch, so they do the tap? Usually on the shoulder. Kind of like “Hey there.” Some people refer to it as the flirtatious slap. It’s so annoying.
I was sitting there with Kevin (my best friend) at Alzavino Wine Tavern and Gertie (my former girlfriend) was doing that to Doug. It’s like “give me a break.”
I’ve provided a photo of Kevin and me reenacting the flirtatious tap/slap for your reference. For all you Gastropeeps that don’t know modern times.

RESTAURANT NOTES: Alzavino Wine Tavern is located in the DelanoWichita District at 1001 W. Douglas Ave. This is a “self-pour” wine spot and I think it might be the only one in Wichita, Kansas. They also have some decent eats. You can see several of the items we got. I was quite impressed with the flatbreads. Also, we had the private “vault” room, which was pretty cool. It made me feel rich. And that’s important to me.
