I swung by Cattleman’s Cafe in Sublette, Kansas recently.
Based on my research — Cattleman’s has three locations in Kansas — Sublette, Liberal, Kansas and Hays, Kansas (which only opened in 2023). As far as I can tell, this restaurant is not affiliated in any way with the Cattlemen’s Steakhouse/Cafe in Oklahoma.
I ordered up the Ribeye which came with two sides and a salad as well as a dinner roll. For the sides I got the mashed potatoes and gravy and the broccoli.
The Ribeye had great flavor and I didn’t need to add anything to it (which should be expected). I liked the mashed potatoes, but I was told they were homemade and maybe they were, but the consistency made me think it was not truly homemade. I could be wrong. It was still good and the gravy was tasty. The broccoli was awesome. The butter added to the health benefits I’m sure 
. Additionally, I got some salsa (you know I love my salsa) and it was also homemade and could tell it was. I was kind of suprised about that.
