Alright. This review has been a LONG time coming. Amore Italian Restaurant Wichita is located in west Wichita, Kansas on W. 21st St. on the west side of Amidon.
It opened in late 2023 and I only recently checked it out. There were several reasons including that I wanted to give them a chance to work on any kinks.
I’ll do this like how I judge in food competitions. In this case I’m gonna rate the service, the atmosphere and the food.
The service was very good. Greeted upon arrival and attentive service.
The atmosphere was also good/nice. There were some cool Italian themes and everything was clean. Check out the photos.
The food was average. I ordered the Amore Combo. It came with Chicken Parmesan, Lasagna, Cannelloni and Manicotti. I was so-so on the food. I thought the lasagna with beef was excellent. I’d order it again. I did not like the chicken Parmesan. It was too overcooked (the chicken). I thought the Manicotti and Cannelloni were good, but not anything over the top. Therefore one great item, one not great item and two average items makes me say “average.”
So, great service, great atmosphere and average food based on my ONE experience. Hey if I’m wrong, tell me. And if there is something I MUST go back and try, tell me too.
