I went to Asian Bistro in Wichita, Kansas for the first time.
I ordered up a Bun — the Bún Tôm Thịt Nướng, Chả Giò. It is grilled shrimp and grilled pork with egg rolls in Vermicilli noodle. I ate a decent amount of it WITHOUT the sriracha, but wanted to add some heat to it. I threw a bit of chili on it as well (not a ton).
I enjoyed the bun, the service was great and the food was quick. With that said, I didn’t think the bun was so good that it’s a must try — I’d like to go back for the full catfish that I always see my foodie friends checking out…without me.
Asian Bistro is located at 1520 S. Webb Rd. in southeast Wichita.
