Congratulations to Ballet Wichita on 50 years of giving the Wichita community the beauty of ballet.
Over the years I have seen a lot of kids find meaning and purpose in ballet and working with the instructors and teachers that are part of the Ballet Wichita Academy . That’s pretty cool!
To celebrate the 50 years in the biz, Ballet Wichita had the “Eras Show,” where they performed to music (with appropriate costume) from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s.
The addition of drinks, some food, the amazing speed painting by the talented Annika Wooton and the tunes spun by my good DJ Carbon at the incredible B-29 Doc Hangar made for a great evening. Hell, I was even able to see how the plane mechanics perform routine maintenance on Doc.
Congrats again, to Ballet Wichita and all their friends, family and supporters. And for those interested, there is one more performance today (Saturday, March 29th) at the B-29 Doc Hangar and Education Center from 6pm-9pm. A link to get tickets is in the comments.
