I saw a post recently from Rice & Roll by Xing XingRice & Roll by Xing Xing , now known as Bao Xing. They wrote: “Please don’t forget us small business!!! We need you to survive. We always serve fresh, delicious, hot meals with the finest ingredients.”
I’m not sure that it was a cry for help. But I know when I went on a Saturday at lunch time, during the noon hour and I was the only diner (one person came in for Door Dash/Uber Eats), that I was glad I was there.
I didn’t want to eat a lot because I had a huge dinner planned, but I ordered up the Chili Wontons (bowl of wontons) and two egg rolls. All of it was excellent. I’ve been to Bao Xing before and tried out the Seafood Ramen, Chili Wings and Crab Rangoon. And I’ve been to its prior iteration — Rice and Roll by Xing Xing.
It’s a spot that deserves your business. It’s located at 6100 E. 21st St. N. in Wichita, Kansas just west of 21st & Woodlawn on the northwest corner.
