The food was decent or even good. The Kimchi Fried Rice was great and I’d go back for it. The Secret Sauce Wings were pretty good (though there was too much sauce in my opinion). And the fries were great — reminded me of Burger King fries, which I like.
But that is all that I can say positive about bb.q Chicken located at TownEast Shopping Mall in Wichita,Kansas. That is 7700 E. Kellogg Dr.

You are required to order everything on kiosks. And the teenagers working at the restaurant would rather flirt and chat anongst themselves than assist someone trying to order on the kiosks. So, if you have any questions about the menu, be patient. They’re busy.
If you like water with your meal, bring some extra money. I paid $6.34 with tax for the two bottles of water that you see in the photos. Why? Is TKG too good for the water from the soda fountain (see photos)? No. When I finished up my order I was asked “did you get any drinks,” and I said “no, but can we get some cups for water?” The answer was “no.” I had to go back and do another order on my own on the screen to order water bottles. Perhaps I could have ordered a fountain drink for a couple bucks and then obtained water that way. I am not really sure. No instructions.
I was also irritated by this sign that you can see. “Please Clean Up After Yourself.” Am I opposed to cleaning up after myself? Heck no. I’ll bet if you did a poll of servers at all the restaurants I’ve been to, a majority would note how I always stack my dishes, etc. Cleaning up is not the irritation. The irritation is that I place my order on a screen, I barely get any help (exercising patience) on the menu, I have to pay more than $3 for one water, and then when I pay, it’s asked if I want to leave a tip. Oh and “by the way, “please clean up after yourself.”
Give me a break.
Like I said, the food is decent or very good. But my first experience was definitely lacking. Not sure if I’ll return.
