I had been wanting to try the lunch buffet at Bella Vita Bistro (120 N. West St.) in Wichita, Kansas for quite some time. Here’s the thing though — it’s only on Fridays from 11am-2pm. So you have three hours per week to make your dreams come true if you’re into Italian food, like I am.
I rolled by with Jackstacks.Eats, Fert The Foodie, Lets.Eat.ICT, Wichita By E.B. and some schmuck named Live Local (I kid L.L. …you know I love you).
There were a ton of Italian options including Lobster Ravioli, Manicoti, Smoked Salmon, Chicken Cordon Bleu, etc. My three favorite items were 1. Veal Florentine, 2. Chicken Francese, and 3. Mac & Cheese.
Yeah, I know. Mac & Cheese. But I really thought it had awesome flavor. I liked the white cheese. But my favorite was definitely the Veal Florentine. OMG.
Definitely give this spot a chance if you have not been before!
