It’s a name you should know. This dude is legit and such a great guy. For more reasons than I will share.

I was at a private event recently and had no idea he’d be there, but to my delight, he was.

Chef Stan retired from his “big boy job” in the last few years and then went to pursue one of his passions by enrolling at and graduating from NICHE — the Wichita State University Culinary School in Downtown Wichita.

Chef Stan’s menu included Curried Chicken in lettuce boats, Red Wine Braised Beef with goat cheese on crostini with balsamic glaze, Smoked Salmon with mustard maple glaze, Mushrooms & Shallots with herbed goat cheese or puff pastry, Cacio E Pepe cheese puffs, Devil’s Food, Cupcakes with sour cream chocolate frosting, Lemon Ricotta cookies, Classic Deviled Eggs, Berbere Spiced Deviled Eggs and Crudite tray.

I included photos of Chef Stan’s business card. Give him a call if you’re looking for a private chef. Heck maybe I’ll have him over to Doug’s basement.
