“I just think it’s ridiculous that The Kansas Gastronomist ate dinner at Chester’s Chophouse & Wine Bar in Wichita,Kansas at The Waterfront, Wichita. He doesn’t even have a job other than that dumb gastronomy gig.” Doug’s wife (TKG’s sister) said in a judgmental manner.
“You are so dumb Doug’s Wife! You seriously don’t know what you’re talking about.” Doug’s Mother-In-Law (TKG’s mom) retorted. “Chester’s has a heckuva reasonable happy hour menu. TKG got three beef sliders (Creekstone Farms Premium Beef), a large bowl of house cut fries, Tuna Poke Crisps and an entire Charcuterie Platter. All for $38 + tax!” Doug’s Mother-In-Law screamed as she shook TKG’s receipt back-and-forth in Doug’s Wife’s face.
It’s true. A really good deal every day from 4:30pm-6:00pm and quality food. TKG and his crew were quite fond of the Tuna Crisps and the sliders. The beef on the sliders were cooked perfectly and who doesn’t love tuna
