It kind of bothers me that there is only one Chick N Max open in Wichita now (over at West & Maple on the west side). I picked these meals up from the E. Central location prior to it closing. And the W. Central location closed prior to that.
The sandwich is the Classic Smoked Chicken. It’s almond wood smoked pulled chicken with buttermilk garlic sauce on a potato bun with pickle. And then you have the smoked white beans. I freakin’ love those beans. Beans are important part of a balanced diet y’all, and these beans balance. I also picked up the 3-piece Chicken Tender Combo with fries and puppies. That wasn’t for me. I’m not a baby.
Here is why it bothers me that there is only one location now. It is a local “fast food” spot, having been started in Wichita and I love seeing that success. But I guess too many people went to Chick-Fil-A for the 10,000th time, without ever giving this spot a chance. I don’t know. Pure speculation.
