“Uh. Mr. The Kansas Gastronomist. Do you mind being on camera? See…we’re filming Good Day Kansas for KSN TV here at CJ’s Sports Bar and Grill, which is conveniently located at 6305 E. Harry St. right here in Wichita,Kansas. And you’d just be in the crowd.”
Her question stunned me.
“Yeah…I don’t do film. Everyone knows that.” I remarked as I snuffed out my menthol and took a seat.
“Barkeep. Barkeep!!!!” I bellowed. “I want that Breakfast Burger, which comes with cheese, fried egg, bacon and hashbrowns. And I’ll split the wings, buffalo style, with this dude.” I said as I did a really cool ‘triple-finger point’ at Fert The Foodie.
I swear. Peeps always trying to cramp my style.

RESTAURANT NOTES: I was impressed with my burger. It’s legit. And 1/2 lb at that. More than enough. For my fries, I ordered the wavy fries. They are almost cut like pickles (I might have stolen that verbiage from Fert, so kudos to him if I did…we were talking about it) and were tasty. As far as the wings, they were worth getting as well. Really enjoyed them.
Whatever.
