Ashland, Kansas has an old church on Main Street that is home to a restaurant called Cups & Mugs. It’s quite remarkable. Even the tables are made from pews.
Not only was I impressed with the venue, but also the food. I ordered the Chicken Rotisserie Melt which came with sidewinder fries. You can see the menu in the photos. I kind of assumed this was just a coffee shop (before going). Nope.
One of the employees told me the owners started the restaurant in the old church building because it was just sitting vacant and they thought the concept would be cool. I think it definitely is.
