One of the many things I really like about Dempsey’s Burger Pub in Wichita, Kansas at Clifton Square, is that it is always doing a burger special.
I saw that in honor of Thanksgiving (apparently) it was doing “The Great Ham-Bino.” It’s a Wagyu burger that comes with mash potatoes and gravy on top, shredded/cut ham, copious amounts of American cheese and a honey glaze. My server suggested that it was best without the bun and TBH I eat burgers without the bun a lot to save on calories and carbs. It’s not much, but at least something. Anyway, I ordered it that way and I really liked it. Actually, I loved it.
I also picked up the Up-In-Down Burger, which is on the regular menu. I try to pick this up on occasion for my karate training. Nothing like chomping into this burger and then karate punching the dummy that is Doug.
This burger is available through Sunday, November 30th. Then it’s gone.
