I think this spot has some great eats. Based on the two times I have been. I ordered the Shrimp Zarandeados, which was a grilled shrimp with sauce and rice. It was outstanding.
My meal arrived at 1:35pm. Then my buddy’s order arrived at 1:58pm (after realizing it hadn’t been rang in….apparently). Then my other buddy’s meal arrived 11-minutes later at 2:09pm. It was annoying just sitting there waiting to say the least.
We were there for over an hour and no, it wasn’t busy. You can see the empty tables. I mentioned the first meal arrived at 1:35pm. That isn’t the “rush” hour.
There were other issues. For example I asked for additional salsas. Apparantly it costs to have additional salsas for the chips. Didn’t know that and it’s fine, but would have liked to have received the salsa when I was INITIALLY charged for it. They did remove the charge after I pointed out that I hadn’t received. But seriously…after waiting forever and forgetting to put orders in (and being out of an item for one of the meals) you’re gonna charge for a little cup of salsa for chips, and never even got it.

What I hate is that I really like the food at this restaurant…but this was a “not great” service experience. Hopefully they spend some time focusing on the service. They have the food down. But at least on this day, they didn’t have the service down.
