So, I went to Felipe’s Mexican Restaurant on north Woodlawn in Wichita,Kansas and grabbed some food to-go. The location I took the food to was approximately 5-minutes from the restaurant.
I really enjoyed my Quesa Birria! It was definitely tasty and better than many places I have been. I would get it again and if you ever stop by, I recommend you check it out.
I was not a fan of the cheese enchilledas. The cheese on the enchilledas appears to me to be like Kraft singles or something (I’m not saying it is Kraft). I do think it would have been better if it had not been “to-go,” but still think the issue was the type of cheese used on the enchiladas. I might be wrong, but I felt like it was a different cheese used the last time I went more than 1 1/2 years ago. But I don’t know.
As for the queso blanco (that’s the white cheese queso), it was a bit bland in my opinion. Just didn’t pack much taste. And I thought $13 was quite a bit for it too.
Something in addition to the Quesa Birria that I have really enjoyed from here (on different visits) is the Pork Red Chili.
