Are you tired of suggesting places to eat brunch this morning and hearing the person that previously said “I don’t care” say “um, I’m not really digging that suggestion.”?
Just knee that person in the face and then jointly meander over to FioRito Ristorante near College Hill, Wichita, KS at 3134 E. Douglas Ave., Wichita, KS 67214.
The Cinnamon Roll Focaccia is always a big hit at my brunch table. It consists of cinnamon, roll and focaccia. And Doug’s wife (my sister) really enjoyed the Chicken Pesto Melt. She actuallly let me eat half and I really liked it. Actually took some home (Doug’s basement) and ate the leftovers. And that Omelette…well it just hit different for Doug. He told me that he had been before and thought the omelette was fine, but nothing exceptional. But he could detect that it was made differently this time and really enjoyed it.
Finally I got the special that day, which was a breakfast ramen/pho type soup with sausage in it. What I like about FioRito is that they always have a different special and are constantly trying new things and changing the menu up.
I’d give FioRito a Mastro Gastro ranking, probably.
