I’d been wanting to check out Frank Furter’s Street Eats & Catering in Wichita,Kansas for a while. The owner started it back in June. At first he just had a cart, but since has upgraded to a food trailer.
Curtis, the owner (I know, I wish it was “Frank” as well), serves 1/4 lb all-beef hotdogs and they are thick. It’s kind of hard to tell from my photos, but if you look at the first hot dog photo you can see the end of the dog. He has Chicago Dogs, Philly Dogs, Coney Dogs, Chili Cheese Dogs, this Reuben Dog (which came with Sauerkraut, Thousand Island and Swiss Cheese) and other dogs. Look at the menu if you want more info. Also, what I found unique was this Chili Spaghetti. I freakin’ love Chili Spaghetti (what I call Cincinnati Chili).
I really enjoyed my Reuben Dog and Chili Spaghetti! And Curtis was a real nice guy to talk with.
I found Frank Furter’s parked at I-235 and Central Ave. on the west side of Wichita at that used car shop on the north side of the road. He told me he is there a lot. But he posts on his social media where he will be. Check it out sometime!
