Back on March 5th I challenged Wichita By E.B., Live Local, DJ Carbon and Jackstacks.Eats to a challenge to benefit ICT Food Rescue. Additionally Lets.Eat.ICT wanted to get in on the game. I acquiesced.

We ended up meeting at Gläs Häus Racing (located near 37th & Woodlawn in Wichita, Kansas). It’s somewhere I had never been. Actually somewhere none of us has been. I think we all LOVED it.

I have some quick points to make.

1. Austin, the owner of Glas Haus was there and walked us through everything. He was awesome. By the way, Austin and his amazing wife are the owners of Prost over at Revolutsia — the shipping container mall.

2. The experience I had at Glas Haus was nothing short of amazing. And I mean that. I bullsh** but only when you know I am. I’m not. It was one of the most unique experiences I’ve had in a long time. Just straight up incredible and I will go back multiple times.

3. The purpose of this challenge was to have fun and also do some good. The good? It’s ICT Food Rescue. “ICT Food Rescue is what it is today because of those that are passionate about feeding people and not landfills.” They go to restaurants that would otherwise throw out food and get it to peeps that need food. All of the losers in this competition had to donate $20 to the cause. You can donate here: https://ictfoodrescue.org/donate I’ll put the link in the comments as well.

4. Finally, and most importantly, I didn’t lose a race/get in last place (which is the same thing). In the first race I beat Live Local and Wichita By E.B. and in the second race I beat Live Local (by a TON).
