I thought maybe the cost for a Large Hulu Huli Chicken ($16.95, pretax) would not be worth it at Hawaiian Bros Island Grill in Wichita over at 13th & Greenwich in northeast Wichita.
It comes with marinated grilled teriyaki chicken, with rice and mac salad. But when Doug (my brother in law) and I received this container, we immediately split it down the middle. And it turned out to be enough for both of us. So, from a price standpoint, actually a pretty good deal!
Taste-wise, I thought the marinade on the chicken went well with the rice, which had the right amount of sticky. I do enjoy the mac salad (a/k/a cold mac & cheese) here as well.
