Hikari sushi and ramen in Haysville (Kansas) is located where the former “Sunny Hibachi Sushi and Indonesian Food” was previously housed at 240 N. Main St., Suite 300.
Several Gastrofans had reached out to me that this place was both a) excellent and b) could use some love. Therefore, I put it on my list and I finally made it a few weeks back. I was joined by (or I joined) Significantly Spicy and Wichita By E.B.
I ordered the Spicy Chicken Ramen based on previous recommendations. It came with chicken broth, grilled chicken, ajitama, kikurage, scallions, menma and nori. And Signifcantly Spicy and I split the Spicy Tuna Roll and the Spicy Salmon Roll.
I thought the rolls were excellent. Actually, more than excellent. I think I preferred the Spicy Salmon, but they both were worth getting.
As far as the Ramen, I thought it was a pretty good ramen. The noodles were cooked well and the broth in this ramen had a rich and deep taste.
Go and give Hikari Sushi & Ramen some love.
