Sensai Frank Inzentz (my Sensai), Kevin (my best friend) and I recently ordered some food from Il Vicino Wood Oven Pizza in Wichita, Kansas at Bradley Fair.
I couldn’t believe how many years it had been since I had been there. So, I decided to do it up.
I ordered the Lasagna Bolognese, the Meatballs, the Marinara and Mozzarella pizza and the Molta Carne pizza. I LOVED the lasagna and I enjoyed the Molta Carne and Marinara and Mozzerella pizza. I thought the meatballs weren’t very good. They were overcooked and I wouldn’t order them again. But I gobbled up that Lasagna. And the pizza was great. Not too crispy and not too soft. But just right.

Il Vicino is in my top 2 pizza places. Love their pizzas and their salads are excellent too. I’ve never had anything but their pizza and salads so I can’t comment on the pastas. I love a good lasagna so I’ll have to give that a try.
